💦MY SKIN CARE!💦

Hi Guys!

Today I decided to change things up a little and talk about my skin care.

I’ve been struggling with acne the moment I turned 13 and to this day I didn’t get rid of it (I’m 22 now). My skin type is combination to oily with acne and it’s VERY sensitive. I have tried all the ointments my doctor recommended and TBH nothing really helped me. My skin got a little bit better when I started using contraception but it wasn’t as big of a change as I would like it to be… some days it can go crazy especially before period😕

This is what I do to keep my acne under control!

#1. Face wash:

La Roche-Posay Effaclar

I use my favorite face wash which is La Roche-Posay Effaclar- face cleanser for oily skin. I use it twice a day to keep my skin clean and fresh.

It helps to clean the skin from dirt and oil while respecting the skin’s pH balance at 5.5, it’s Soap-free, Paraben-free, Alcohol-free, Oil Free.

I’ve been using this for about 2 years and I can really see that It helps keep my shin clean! It can make the skin a little bit dry but when you put a moisturizer it feels great!

Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Purifying Gel

The next thing I use is NIVEA Purifying Gel, which I use twice a week. It helps to get rid of dead skin, and cleanses skin deeply to make it look healthy and beautiful.

I would say that it’s a stronger cleanser and that’s why I use it only twice a week. It makes my skin feel extra clean but using it more than twice a week makes my skin a little bit irritated.

#2. Makeup remover:

CREME CARE FACIAL CLEANSING & MAKEUP REMOVING WIPES

To remove my makeup I like to start with makeup removing wipes by NIVEA or Johnson’s Face Care Makeup Removing Wipes, both moisturizing and for the sensitive skin.

It removes makeup pretty well but I like to make sure it’s all gone by using Face wash makeup remover by L’Oreal.

#3. Face masks:

I like to try new masks but I don’t do it very often, mainly because of my sensitive skin. Some of them can make my skin very irritated and red.

Here are some masks I like to use that don’t make my skin irritated:

HIMALAYA- PURIFYING NEEM MASK

I like this mask because it works great on small pimples thanks to antibacterial ingredients. I put it on my pimple for the night and the next day when I take it off it’s a lot smaller!

Cettua Nose Strips

This is so far the best face stripes for blackheads I used! It removes a lot of dirt and leaves the pores look smaller! I use it once a week.

7th HEAVEN MASKS

I’m experimenting with 7th Heaven masks right now and some of  them are really good! They make my skin super soft, but I haven’t tried all of them yet. The one in the picture is the one I’m going to try today so I will make an update to this post if it’s any good! 🙂

Hope you liked this little change! I decided that posting only makeup looks can be a little boring so I will change things up from time to time!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Let me know what are some of your acne skin care secrets if you have any, because I’m still on a look for some good stuff to try out!

  1. I love the 7th heavens face mask it’s so nice! I also suffer with acne it’s sometimes depresses me because everyone around me seems to have clear skin! I also tried the pill which worked but soon as I came off it my acne was severe, I’ll have to try some of the face washes you’ve posted on this post cause I’m forever trying new products to help my skin. Lovely post enjoyed reading! X

    1. I know how you feel! Being the only one with acne in my group of friends is pretty sad. At the moment my skin got worse so I’m trying to eat healthier and drink tons of water in hope that it will help ha!

  2. I didn’t have acne. Ever. But now since we’ve moved to a new place I have it, since 8 or more months. I went to a dermatologist and at first it didn’t help but later it did help when I went to a different one. But the marks won’t go away. Do you know a way to get rid of them?
Your post is nice. I’ll surely try these products.

    1. Gosh… wish I could help but I have no idea how to get rid of the marks because I don’t really have much of them myself 😦 All I’ve heard is that lemon juice might help with the blemishes that come with the pimples but you have to be careful with it as it might irritate the skin!
Thanks for commenting and reading! xx

      1. No problem. But you surely solved the mystery of these masks for me. Lately I saw them and I hadn’t heard of the company before so I was actually confused about the fact that whether I should buy them or not.
        Thanks again xx

  3. Have you tried Lush products? I have super sensitive skin and have been forced to use Cetaphil all my life! Anything else dries up my skin terribly and causes breakouts! But I’m so bored of using it! I love to try out new products! Damn my skin :/

    1. I tried one lush mask a while ago but I dont think i saw a big difference. I love their bath bombs tho! So good!😍
If it comes to cetaphil I really want to try it, hopefully its better than my current moisturizer and its not oily! 😣

  4. Gosh I had absolutely a terrible time with my acne & I tried absolutely alsorts! From steaming my face & using low end/high end products to having procedures done to get rid of the puss inside – it was so painful. I have been using this natural mud mask which draws out the impurities & helps skin to breathe &’getting rid of excess oils that spreads! Using things like tee tree oil & witch hazel dries the skin out which can make it more sensitive so you gots to becareful!
